Experience

I have experience teaching English to ESL students. In the past, I have found tutoring to be fulfilling work; I enjoy helping students succeed and achieve the confidence they need to do well. I was on the dean's list at Prairie College and was a student leader for three years. I was a teaching assistant for a year and have experience giving feedback and editing papers. I also have three years of experience facilitating college groups. Experiences leading groups have helped give me strong communication and people skills.

Hobbies

My favorite past times usually take me outdoors with several friends. I love hiking, biking, kayaking, and rock climbing. I also have a passion for facilitating others in the outdoors and helping them gain new confidence in their lives through facing challenges outdoors. In the past three years, I have had experience facilitating college students in the outdoors and facilitating them in the classroom. I love to see students empowered and given a new confidence to challenge themselves academically, physically, and socially by being vulnerable and authentic with others. I also love reading and music. I enjoy playing the piano and singing. I believe hobbies and past times (such as reading, hiking, and music).
