Hobbies

Even before entering into the teaching profession, I've always considered myself to be a teacher. At the high school, undergraduate, and graduate level, I was eager to help my peers understand the class material and hard-to-grasp concepts. Teaching was the obvious choice for me, and for most of my adult life, I've been actively involved with helping students learn. Other Experiences: I have accumulated some other very special experiences such as coaching a successful high school varsity basketball team which widened my knowledge of what motivates people, traveling to 13 beautiful countries which deepened my understanding of the world around me, meeting the most interesting people through numerous volunteer and disaster-relief projects which broadened my perspective on living, and attending a life-changing two-year Bible college which heightened my faith in God. All of these experiences enabled me to know people, know the world, and know myself, and so that I could become a well-rounded person. I love and believe in what I do and will be more than happy to answer any questions or discuss any cares that you might have.
